Harold Gray

Harold Gray

Chief AI & Technology Officer

Harold Gray brings more than 45 years of engineering, architecture, and entrepreneurial leadership to his role as Chief AI & Technology Officer. A rare hybrid of systems thinker, hands-on builder, and repeat founder, Harold has been designing and delivering software solutions since the earliest days of modern computing. He launched his first company in 1980 and has since founded and led three ventures, each rooted in his ability to turn complex ideas into elegant, scalable systems.

Across his career, Harold has built software at every layer of the stack — from low-level architecture and data pipelines to enterprise-scale platforms. He is known for his ability to diagnose and untangle deeply interconnected systems, whether they involve infrastructure, integrations, or organizational processes. His approach blends engineering rigor with practical intuition, allowing him to see not just the code, but the entire ecosystem it lives within.

Today, Harold channels that depth of experience into advancing Edgy's AI-driven capabilities. He leads the design of intelligent systems that can sense, respond, and automate — pushing the boundaries of what's possible in applied AI and real-time business automation.

Harold holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master's in Information and Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. This dual foundation — engineering discipline paired with computational depth — shapes his signature style: logical, data-driven, and relentlessly focused on optimization. He views software as a living process to be engineered for clarity, efficiency, and scale.

Recognized for his ability to translate abstract concepts and book-length visions into working products, Harold excels at automating ideas into reality. Whether architecting enterprise systems or troubleshooting multi-platform infrastructure challenges, he brings a level of persistence, clarity, and technical fluency that only decades of hands-on experience can produce.
